Well, I purchased my first Dragon Wings Warbird the other day, and just received in the mail. I ordered the Bounty Hunters F-18 with the carrier backdrop (truth be told, I primarily ordered it for the carrier display). Now, I am mainly a Century Wings collector. The quality and construction of their birds is unsurpassed. Price I paid for the F-18 was $40 or so. I have to say, and I mean no disrespect to Dragon collectors, but I felt I had to comment on this aircraft...what a piece of $h!8! Let's see, during assembly, one of the front wheel's fell off, one of the back landing gear wheel's fell off, one of the antenna's fell off, I was trying to get one of the landing gear door pieces into its slot, and BOTH tail fins collapsed! The canopy won't stay shut and the tail elevators feel like they could break at any moment and the ordinance does not fit very well...and there isn't a whole lot of it. I will tell you, this is the LAST Dragon bird I buy. What a major disappointment in the plane itself. I was happy with the carrier display (actually, the best made part), but the aircraft itself was crap. People moan and whine about the price of Century products, but if what I get at half the price is this trashy, I'll gladly pay the premium. It beats having to have the super glue ready to go as I open the package. Sorry for the rant, and again no disrespect to the Dragon collectors, but boy was I mad. I have just become used to the quality of the Century birds, and this has given me a new found respect for their products at any price.
